Only 17 anglers made it to the latest match in the Float Only League due to icy road conditions.
The match was again fished on the Roslea Lakes in good weather conditions and plenty of small fish were again caught.
Gavin’s Lake won the match for the second time with David Burleigh (Kinawley) winning the Match on peg 7 fishing the slider for over 60 fish for 3.730Kgs.
Runner up Jack Tisdall (Ballinamallard) fished the Pole for 75 Roach on Drumacritten Lake for 2.500Kgs,
while Lyndon Read (Lisnaskea) was third with 1.810Kgs on Gavin’s Lake.
The other section was won by Nick Howell (Kilskeery) 0.950Kgs on Inver High.

About Me
Hello, my name is David Herron and welcome to David's end peg!I live in Northern Ireland and work as a Graphic Designer. I started fishing at the age of 8/9 and I was a member of Fairline Fishing Club since I was at the age of 14 and regularly fished both their Coarse & Pike leagues. I used to fish the Drennan Super League & Angling Times Winter leagues with Lurgan VDE, and learned alot of skills from team fishing but sadly big competitions like this don't exist any more. I'm a member of Sensas Erne Anglers and Lurgan Dynamite Fox Match.
I have started to take my Match Fishing seriously over the past couple of years since I finished University and settled into a full time job.
2011 saw me get my first Cap for Ireland having been selected to fish on the Celtic Cup Team for the event over at Magiscroft Fishery in Scotland.
I've also been selected to fish for Tubertini Ireland at the 2012 World Championship in the Czech Republic so I'll also be updating my blog with some preparation for this event.
I'm currently fishing Sensas Erne Anglers FLOAT ONLY Winter League/Bill Clarke Memorial League.
