Change of venue for this one, Thursday night I got an email saying that due to the hard frosts and weather forecast, we’re fishing the Kilmore River just outside Lisnaskea.
10m wide, 5ft deep and .5 to .75g floats needed. Gavin fished it on tuesday and had 92 fish in 1.5 hours. John Potters pegged it on Thursday and had 12 fish in 1 hour. Sounds good to me!

After yesterdays relatively calm conditions, I was hopefull that we would get nice fishable conditions for the 3rd winter league. It soon turned for the worse on Saturday evening and throughout the night but stopped raining by Sunday morning.

Today was the last match of Fairline’s Pike League and was also the Turkey Trot match. Traditionally the winner would receive a Turkey and their name engraved on a Shield but the Turkeys have become scarce this last 3-4 years.
