Loughgall Lake
Fairline Pike match. Drew peg 43, fished 35-45 odd numbers. Fished from 9.45am. Caught 2 pike within the first hour - 1lb 3oz first chuck after 30 minutes and 4lb 6oz after an hour, both on the right rod with the same small roach. Enagh Lough
Fished with Armagh Pikers from 8.40am - 1.40pm. Drew peg 7 (old peg 6 in the corner) Weather was blustery everybody was fishing pegs old 6 - 10. Greg caught on the point - 2lb 4oz float ledgered sprat. I caught at 10.20am - 2lb 5oz on an air injected mini smelt about 20yds out. Carrick Lake
I fished peg 12 from 9.30am - 5pm. Weather was on and off all day - wind blowing into my face and rain on and off. Missed 4 runs on full small mackeral, Herring Tails and a 6-7” Smelt. Caught 1 pike at 1.30pm on a Herring Tail - 6lb 8oz. Nothing else for the rest of the day. I stayed till dusk.

Fished peg 69 from 9.30 - 3.30pm. Weather was alot better - no rain but the wind got stronger as the day went on. Two pike at 10am - 3lb 12oz and 3lb 4oz, first one on mini smelt and 2nd one on small roach. 3rd run at 11am - 11lb 3oz on a small roach straight out in front at 10-15yds. 2 more pike at 12.15 & 12.30 - 14oz and 1lb 7oz, both on small roach. 4 other missed runs from...

Loughgall Lake
Fished peg 7 from 9.30am - 3.30pm. Glyn Dodds was on peg 10. Weather was brutal - constant rain from 11am and the wind got stronger as the day went on. 2 runs before 12noon on air injected roach. nothing else until 2.30pm before I got a screaming run on a poped up roach - 9lb 14oz.
Todays conditions renewed my confidence of catching (or even getting a run) when it’s raining...
Enagh Lough
I fished peg 7 on Enagh for an hour from 3pm - 4pm. Weather was overcast and windy but quite mild considering the lake was frozen for a week before the weekend. I fished a 5m whip with breadpunch, fed a small amount of plain brown crumb, caught about 12-18” off bottom. 27 wee roach.
